How to reach us?
By Bus:
Board Bus No. 90 from JR Orio Station for an approximately 30-minute journey (¥330) to Ashiyamachiyakuba (Ashiya Town Office) bus stop. From there, it’s about a 15-minute walk to the beach. Along the way, you’ll encounter a leisure pool featuring a water slide. Our office is conveniently situated at the entrance of the pool area.
By Taxi:
If you prefer a more direct option, we recommend taking a taxi from JR Orio Station,especially since bus availability in this area can be limited. The taxi ride takes around 20minutes from the station, with fares ranging from ¥2,500 to ¥3,000. Simply inform the taxidriver that you’re heading to ‘Ashiya-machi-no-puulu’ (Ashiya Town’s pool).

Do I need to make a reservation?
Yes, advance reservation is necessary. Please submit your booking request at least 4-5 days prior to your desired tour date.
Are children allowed on the tour?Yes, children aged 13 and above are welcome, provided they can comfortably ride an adult-sized bike. Please note that children’s participation fee is the same as that for adults.
What should I wear for the tour? We recommend comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes suitable for cycling.Don’t forget to bring sunglasses and sunscreen, as the seaside sun can be stronger.
Is there a minimum group size for the tour?No, we happily welcome solo participants as well.
Do I need to have prior cycling experience?Basic cycling skills are sufficient for this tour, which is tailored for beginners. Your guide will aid and guidance throughout the journey.
Can I bring my own bike?Certainly, you’re welcome to bring your own bike. Please ensure it’s in good condition and suitable for the tour route.
Are helmets provided?Yes, helmets are provided for all participants and are mandatory during the tour to comply with Japanese traffic laws.
Is lunch included in the tour price?Absolutely, a delicious burger lunch is part of the tour package. If you have dietary restrictions, please notify us in advance.Moreover, each participant will receive a plastic bottle of water before departure and during lunch. The bike is equipped with a bottle holder for your convenience.
What happens in case of bad weather?While the tour goes on in light rain, severe weather like heavy rain or storms might necessitate rescheduling or cancellation for safety reasons.You’ll be informed about the day’s weather conditions via email 2-3 days in advance by your guide.
How can I pay the fee?Payment is made just before the tour’s departure at the office. You can pay by cash or with credit cards (VISA,Master,etc.).
How should I proceed in case I need to cancel?Feel free to email us anytime for cancellations.We do not impose any cancellation fee, regardless of the reason.If you fall ill or decide not to participate shortly before the start, cancellation is accepted without a fee as long as it’s before payment.
Does insurance cover accidents or injuries in case of an incident?The rental bicycle insurance is included, so insurance applies to accidents or injuries in cases other than self-inflicted accidents. It does not apply to self-inflicted accidents, so we recommend that each person consider obtaining personal travel insurance before the trip.
